It was clean and nicely decorated. Just a short drive to downtown and the Biltmore. A perfect spot to stay at when visiting Asheville. Highly recommended!!! :)

We booked this lovely cottage for a long weekend. Our son was getting married in Weaverville. This was a great location and while it is a part of a group of rental cottages, it has a private feel to it. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and appreciated having a washer and dryer to return home with clean laundry! Would recommend this highly and we hope to book again!

Stayed here for our daughter's first UNCA fall break. Great cottage. Great location - about 10 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway. We were looking for an alternative to staying in a hotel in Asheville. This place was a perfect alternative. Weaverville is a great little downtown area with great restaurants. We loved Well-Bred Bakery & Café - great lunch and desserts. The main living area and a half bath are all upstairs and the two bedrooms and two full bathrooms are downstairs. Great for noise separation. It has a great view of the mountains out the back and from the deck. A great place for dog lovers with leash and food/water bowls provided. Pictures are very representative. The tv/satellite did not get ESPN but had everything else. We enjoyed day trips to Mount Mitchell, the drive to see waterfalls on Forest Service Road 74 into Pisgah Forest, Asheville and Hendersonville. There are two sister rental properties in the same area. They also look great. It was great to be in a place that was close enough to everything but much more room and in a way better location then your average hotel. We would recommend this property and would stay here again.

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Weaverville and the Callie Cottage. It was the perfect location for our mini-vacation. We wanted somewhere outside of the hustle and bustle of Asheville; yet, close enough to hiking and good restaurants. We were blessed with gorgeous weather and took advantage of being outdoors by visiting Craggy Gardens and DuPont State Forest. We also traveled two hours to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. It was well worth the drive. The place is simply magical! Callie Cottage was the perfect size for us and the owners were great to work with. If we are lucky enough to return to Weaverville, we will definitely stay at Callie Cottage again!

It is hard to find nice places to vacation with our little dog but we were very lucky to come across these cottages. The Callie cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed. We had a great view of the countryside yet a short drive to wonderful restaurants and shops in downtown Weaverville, Asheville and Black Mountain. We enjoyed meeting the owners, Joe and Sue. We let them know how much we had enjoyed our stay and that we will recommend this place to our friends and family!

Everything was perfect. The cottage was sparkly clean, and lacked nothing. Beds were very comfy. Perfect home away from home... Much better than staying in a small hotel room.It had everything one needs! Location was great even though outside of Asheville. The town of Weaverville has amazing restaurants for a small town. It's an easy drive to the city and easy access to all the sights.

Owner Response: Thanks Patti for the review. Yes Weaverville has lots to offer for a small town. We do hope you will come back soon!

We did meet the owner and she was very nice. We would highly recommend this or either of the other two cottages close by. Best part, its pet friendly with its own pet bowls, leash & bags. There is space for walking you and your dog!

A fantastic alternative to a hotel if your business or pleasure brings you to this area.

My husband and I, our dog, and another couple with a child stayed here over the New Year's weekend. We were very pleased with the well appointed, clean, and modern home that had all the conveniences such as a washer/dryer, wireless internet, DTV, comfortable beds, 2 full baths having 1 tub/shower and 1 standup shower, well stocked kitchen, porch with grill, and the view from the living room was great! The owner was thoughtful and offered items for the toddler as well as set out a dog bowl and walking leash and baggies. There's an Ingles grocery store about 5 minutes away and downtown Asheville is a quick 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!

We spent six nights here, including Christmas Eve and Christmas. The cottage was clean, and had all of the amenities that were needed. The owners thoughtfully decorated the cottage for Christmas, which made us feel at home. The cottage is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near Weaverville, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed eating out at the Glass Onion and Stoney Knob Cafe. Both are located a short drive from the cottage, and are reasonably priced. Stoney Knob is always crowded, so make reservations in advance. Due to torrential rains, we could not enjoy outdoor activities. However, we were able to relax in a cozy cottage, and enjoy quiet time. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

So clean and well maintained. We can't wait to come back and will recommend to everyone. Suzanne was great at recommending the wonderful Stoney knob cafe to eat at. We enjoyed dinner there so much! We are just finishing up a several day stay at this cottage. This property is in excellent condition and very clean. I am very picky about where we stay and was quite happy with this cottage. We were so happy that we could bring our dogs with us as it can be difficult to find nice properties that accept pets. The only surprise for us was the construction noise from clearing of woods that is happening across the valley. I think that should be noted on your website for those renters that are looking for more serenity. There is also some traffic noise from a road running below the cottages. It didn't bother us much as we were off property a lot of the time exploring Weaverville, Brevard, and of course Asheville. It is only about a 5 minute drive to downtown Weaverville that had some good restaurants. There is also a small park downtown that we enjoyed. We didn't cook in the cottage but it seemed well stocked with cooking supplies. Bathrooms were pristine right down to no mold anywhere to be found in the bathrooms! We travel frequently and this cottage has made our list of top properties that we have enjoyed.

My sister and I each rented a cottage on this property from the same landlord. We were so pleased with the size when we arrived and the general state of the cottage. They are adorable and beautiful inside. They are very clean and the landlord was very helpful whenever we needed assistance. We had my daughter's dog staying with us a few nights and had mentioned this to the landlord. When we arrived, she had put a dog bowl out for us, some poop bags, and a leash should we need it. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to explore Asheville or Weaverville NC. It's a very short drive to downtown Weaverville and only a 20 minute drive at most to downtown Asheville. We had several functions in downtown Asheville. We had a great week here! The view is amazing from the cottage and it's very quiet and homey.

Owner Response: Thanks for leaving us a review Roberta. We love hosting wedding guests and helping to contribute to making special memories at such a memorable time. Congrats to the newlyweds!

We found this cottage after seeking many hotels in downtown Asheville all to find that they wanted an arm and a leg per night--unless of course you don't mind bed bugs in the lower-rated hotels. Well, this place was so clean and so nice. The price was more than reasonable. The home was spotless and new and the colors were refreshing. It provided a convenient drive to Biltmore and a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. The owners were very friendly and considerate. We want to take friends up there with us next time, but for this stay, it was nice to just get away.

Owner Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay Kaitlyn. Thanks for the review. We look forward to your return visit with some friends next time!

If inspiring mountain views, total comfort and close proximity to Asheville area attractions are what you are looking for in a rental - look no further! Everything in the home was beautiful and new. Beds, pillows and linens were the best I have every experienced (including 5-star hotel stays) - slept like a baby every night! (Sue - what type of mattress, pillows, etc did you use? Must find out!) Waking up to panoramic mountain views from bedroom & main floor every day was one of the best parts of our trip - wow!! Downtown Weaverville was adorable, grocery store was very close, Asheville was only 15 minute scenic drive, and every mile of the short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway was also stunning! Never heard our neighbors and felt like we had the whole hillside to ourselves! Five-star all the way!!! Thank You!!!
