Great place
The owners are great. If I had any questions always answered it in a timely manner. It was like coming home. The only thing I will say. If you have problems with stairs the bedrooms are downstairs. We loved it and will be back.
Great Cottage
Escaped from the City and couldn't have been happier with where we stayed. Highly recommend these cottages and we will certainly be staying there again next time we come to the Mountains.
good location for weaverville and asheville
excellent
Breathtaking Views
Absolutely stunning little cottages!! We were there for a wedding and renting all 3 of the cottages. The experience was absolutely wonderful and easy. The hosts were incredible and the cottages were in incredible condition. We couldn't have picked a better location and cottage. I would recommend for everyone!
Serene cottage with beautiful mountain setting but close to so much!
This cottage has everything- great mountain views, lovely porch for your morning coffee , dry comfortable layout layout and well stocked with all your needs. You have the serenity of the country but still close to Asheville’s fantastic art, culture and restaurants! Our surprise was the quaint town of Weaverville with its beautiful Main Street restaurants and shops and only a couple miles away. You can’t miss with staying at Pleasant Grove Cottages.
Owner Response
Thanks for your review. We love Weaverville too!
Loved it, great place
Great to work with, great clean place, great view
Very clean, cozy and a beautiful kitchen to cook meals in.
We loved our stay at the cottage. We will visit again.
Cabin was fine........view not so fine
The cabin was perfect. The surrounding view was horrible. Our direct view was of a housing development. To the right our view was literally a home turned into a junk yard. To the left we had a mountain view. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The owners were very prompt to answer my email and ask to repair it. I told them it was ok to wait until we left.
Frisco Cottage
Lovely cottage with nice views of the mountains, very clean and nice location to the parkway, Weaverville and Asheville. Good internet and AT&T service, which is hard to find in the area. We own property in the area and will definitely be back, price is great and Sue takes good care of her clients.
Feels like home- cozy, comfortable and clean!
My husband and myself really enjoyed our time at the cottage! We were in Weaverville to visit with our son and his future wife to view the land that they are purchasing. We have stayed in other accommodations in and around Asheville- but this little home is far better than any place we have stayed before! Clean, comfortable beds, pet friendly, beautiful views despite the construction, a fully useable kitchen, and beautifully decorated! We just love this whole area. The town of Weaverville is like being in a Hallmark movie! We had a great dinner at the Main Street Grill, awesome breakfast at Well-Bred, with desserts to go, and Sunday brunch at the Stony Knob Cafe! Great food- and we are definite foodies!! The hometown Christmas Parade with over 80 floats (sad to say we missed it). Took us 10 minutes to get into Asheville to go to Earthfare ....a fantastic grocery store with grass fed local meats and local produce! An experience in itself! Just so much to do in this area. Because of our short visit- we were not able to enjoy more activities re: hiking. So close to the Pisgah National Forest- Biltmore Estate-white water rafting-etc....Looking forward to our return in the Springtime to stay at the cottages!
Great getaway
This is our third mountain home rental. Every year we make the trip from Upstate NY and spend time with our daughter who lives in Charlotte. Each year we have enjoyed our stay and this was no exception. The size is deceiving from the outside. The cottage was as clean, fresh and cozy as one could imagine. The beds were beyond comfortable giving you a totally restful night. My dog was a huge consideration and they even had clean petbowls and feed mat not to mention little red doggie bags for pet waste. The only item in the kitchen which was lacking was a potato masher so we bought and left one. Other than that they supplied your basic needs. And having two and one half baths for the three of us was a bonus. It was convenient for all our day trips to Asheville and Greenville. Our family recommends it highly. And kudos to the cleaning staff. You take the worry out of staying in a strangers home.
Very Clean
The cottage was everything advertised and beautiful. Very Clean and seemed brand new. The only cons would be no counter space in the downstairs bathroom and no TV in the second bedroom. Still because of the cleanliness and condition of everything we would stay again and would recommend this to anyone staying in the Ashville area and give it 5 Stars!
Lovely Cottage
Three of us enjoyed our stay immensely. We had a 3 night stay in order to plan for an upcoming wedding in the Asheville area next summer. The two bedroom cottage was immensely clean, comfortable, and lovely inside and out. It was central in location to all the vendors we needed to meet. Finding a home that truly is as it appears depicted in the owner's photographs is always a welcomed relief. The information notebook was a great source of information and we used it to try out a few places but wish we had more days to explore some others that were recommended. We trekked to the Brevard area to visit a few of our favorite waterfalls. Weaverville is just outside of Asheville, but a close jaunt from the interstate. Grocer and gas just minutes away. Lovely place, well done. I recommend highly.
Repeat Customers!
We have now stayed in both the blue and the green cottages and have had delightful experiences there! The owner is very kind, reasonable and professional, and keeps up very nice properties. Very warm, comfortable, tasteful, clean and friendly interiors. We are staying again soon and look forward to the perfect setup for us!
Such a Fantastic Trip!
The cottages are beautiful and spacious and offer an incredible view. I loved waking up and seeing the horses in the pasture one lot over and having coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains. Everything was clean and everything we needed from a coffee maker to a washing machine was at our disposal. I had wondered if there would be noise from the neighbors in the duplex, but we didn't have any problems! It's close enough to both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway that I never had to go far. All-in-all I had an excellent stay, would love to go back, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great mountain getaway!
